Many responses later, I am encouraged to keep it up.
Here is my new post with my new drawing. There were confusions in some of the correspondences, some of you were asking, who was the author of the drawings...
all the drawings posted on this site are mine, I will try to make a new one for each posting.
I gather my energy to publish a book of drawings, sort of graphic novel sometime later this year.
This blog could give me a new idea, which way to go, to be more of a storyteller, or artisitc;
graphic or poetic, black and white or color...
your comments give me an ongoing inspiration, and like in my art there are no rules and no boundaries to the freedom of expression
so here it is, another pen and ink drawing, titled "Love and Hate",
the rest is up to the viewer...
We are,
ReplyDeleteamong strangers,
cloaked in a delusion,
no faces,
a mere cold sound.
until we make first contact,
we become,
people on a street corner.
wanting so much,
to be treated with worth,
so we try each time,
before we cross the street,
we make eye contact.
there it is,
that moment,
that warm embrace,
which signifies that friendly gesture,
we were waiting for.
no more strangers,
now friends among the populated world.
i got your back,
you got mine,
till the end,
till the world will swallow us whole,
and nothing will be left.
